Facilities, Shipping and Receiving Clerk
About The Position
Retlif Testing Laboratories is hiring a full-time Facilities, Shipping and Receiving Clerk for its Harleysville, Pennsylvania laboratory. The position supports shipping, receiving, and facilities maintenance functions at the facility. The role is typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexible hours, occasional evening shifts, overnight stays, and overtime potentially required according to customer needs. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience. Retlif Testing Laboratories is an independent testing laboratory and engineering services provider serving industries including aerospace, rail, maritime, military, defense, and medical. Its services include electromagnetic compatibility, radio approval, product safety, and environmental simulation testing. Requirements
- High school diploma at minimum.
- Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping procedures and forms.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain medical certification for long-distance box-truck driving.
- Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret Clearance, including U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and twist.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organized and attentive to detail, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Box-truck driving experience.
- Licensed forklift truck operator certification.
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
