Requirements

  • Ability to handle several projects simultaneously, prioritize work and handle last-minute demands appropriately.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without constant supervision.
  • Excellent communication, written and grammatical skills.
  • Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers.
  • Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, break areas, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Replenish supplies, such as bathroom items and paper towels.
  • Clean carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners.
  • Dust and polish desks, furniture and equipment.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Wash front door and pass through door windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Dust window blinds and windowsills.
  • Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware.
  • Clean building walls or flooring.
  • Clean equipment or supplies.
  • Clean facilities or sites.
  • Clean furniture or fixtures.
  • Decorate indoor or outdoor spaces.
  • Dispose of trash or waste materials.
  • Instruct staff in work policies or procedures.
  • Move furniture.
  • Remove debris from work sites.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend and actively participate in meetings and trainings, as well as share important information in a professional manner.
  • Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.
