About The Position

Physicians East, P.A. is seeking a Facilities Services Technician I to perform maintenance as requested by work orders, maintain all company vehicles, and serve as a backup for maintenance tasks at all Physicians East properties under the guidance of the Facilities Services Manager. This is a full-time, non-exempt role.

Requirements

Must Live within 20 miles of Physicians East’s main campus on Arlington Blvd.
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License and clean driving record required.
Knowledge in general maintenance in the areas of carpentry, plumbing, painting, HVAC, electrical, flooring, etc.
Comprehend and comply with all HIPPA, OHSA, and other local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to the operations of medical facilities.

Responsibilities

Assists the Facilities Service Technician II or Facilities Services Manager
Completion of work orders requesting assistance as needed
Ability to trouble shoot and repair various trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Flooring, etc.)
Routine inspections of Life Safety Equipment (Emergency and Egress lighting, Elevators, etc.)
Operating and maintaining company owned vehicles
Assists in the relocation or setup of offices and furniture
Takes after hours call for maintenance and Fire System emergencies
Maintain valid North Carolina Driver’s License and clean driving record
Ability to operate computers, phones, tablets efficiently and effectively
Ability to communicate effectively
All other duties as assigned by superior Technicians or Managers
