About The Position

The North Lambton Community Health Centre is a community-governed health centre serving identified priority populations in a defined catchment area. The Centre operates multiple sites in Ontario: Forest, Kettle & Stony Point, Watford, and Sarnia. Our interdisciplinary team provides primary health care, health promotion and community development services. The North Lambton Community Health Centre is currently seeking applicants for the following position: 1.0 FTE Facilities & Risk Management Coordinator. This is a permanent position with flexible hours, working 37.5 hours per week. The rate of pay for this position is $57,759 - $68,600 per year (on a six-step grid). The rate will be based on experience and education. Medical benefits, the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and paid vacation are included. The incumbent will be required to work at all sites.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, or combination of diploma and related experience (business administration designation an asset).
  • Three to five years’ experience in Property Management, Risk Management, with Joint Health and Safety Committees, preferably in a health or not-for-profit setting.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology and excellence in various software applications required (e.g., Microsoft Office and PS Suites).

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Property management and its related day-to-day duties for the five Health Centre building locations
  • Acting as the Management Representative with the Health Centre’s Joint Health and Safety Committee
  • Responsible for the Health and Safety and Risk Management portfolios
