About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform skilled repairs to resort buildings and equipment while maintaining the best possible conditions with minimal inconvenience to guests. The role responds to maintenance requests and performs preventive repairs to support a seamless, disruption-free guest experience. It also involves providing friendly, courteous service and maintaining equipment in excellent working condition.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience performing general handyman work, including basic carpentry, minor electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting, or furniture repair.
A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
Resume required.

Nice To Haves

Trade school and/or college coursework in a related field.
Previous experience working in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain resort and condominium rooms, including programming televisions; replacing light switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures; repairing furniture; performing minor plumbing repairs and repairing water lines; maintaining swimming pools and spas; painting designated areas; repairing and finishing sheet rock and wall coverings; and repairing and programming hotel electronic lock systems.
Ensure guests feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and manufacturer-recommended preventive maintenance programs.
