Facilities Representative
About The Position
McKesson is seeking a Facilities Representative to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of its distribution center in Ruther Glen, Virginia. This hands-on role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on facility infrastructure and automated material handling equipment, helping keep critical systems operating effectively while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., and may change based on business needs. The role is primarily onsite in a distribution center. Occasional overtime, weekend work, or after-hours responses to equipment and facility emergencies may be required. The stated base pay range is $19.47–$32.45. Requirements
- Typically requires at least 1 year of related experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, or technical manuals.
- Basic computer skills and experience using maintenance tracking systems or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility infrastructure, automated equipment, and material handling systems.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, A-Frames, printers, strappers, compressors, and other operational equipment to maximize uptime.
- Complete scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and work orders to support safe and efficient operations.
- Diagnose equipment issues, implement corrective actions, and support facility improvement projects.
- Follow safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, coordinate with vendors when needed, and respond to facility or equipment emergencies.
