About The Position

The Facilities Project Manager will assist the Director of Facilities with lead planning, execution, and delivery of facility upgrades, renovations, maintenance programs, and capital projects across our office and laboratory locations. They will manage contractors, coordinate with internal EXP. management, and ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of safety and quality. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands on, very organized, and proactive.

Requirements

  • Min of 2 years of experience in facilities management, construction project management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and problem solving abilities
  • Experience working with contractors and trades

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Facilities in leading end to end project management for facility improvements, renovations, and capital projects
  • Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, schedules and cost tracking
  • Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Assist with site inspections, track progress, and resolve any issues quickly
  • Support long term facilities planning, asset management, and preventive maintenance initiatives
