About The Position
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine is seeking a Facilities Project Manager for its Space and Facilities Department. This role is crucial for supporting both the UNLV Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine and UNLV Health. The Facilities Project Manager will manage diverse projects related to operations, programs, building maintenance, and infrastructure for a portfolio of over 300,000 sq. ft. across 13 buildings, including those in the Medical District, satellite locations, and the Shadow Lane and Maryland Parkway campuses. This position oversees projects for academic, administrative, clinical, and research facilities, including managing outside contracts. Advanced skills in facilities management, project management, feasibility studies, sustainability assessments, construction and design, emergency preparedness, facility operations, and environmental health and safety are required. The department's portfolio is continuously expanding with moves, renovations, and new builds, making this role pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 5-7 years or more of demonstrated experiences in customer service, facilities operations and project management.

Responsibilities
- Manage specialized and diverse projects to support operations, programs, building maintenance, and infrastructure related to the physical environment for the space portfolio.
- Manage projects for both the UNLV Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine and UNLV Health.
- Oversee outside contracts related to academic, administrative, clinical and research facilities and the management of those spaces.
- Conduct feasibility studies, sustainability assessments.
- Ensure projects are completed on-time and on budget.
