The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) invites applications for Curriculum Manager, Academic Affairs Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. This position fills an essential space beneath the Senior Curriculum Manager to assist in the planning, organization, evaluation, and management of basic science and clerkship operations. The role involves interacting directly with high-level administrators, department chairs, faculty, staff, students, and representatives to ensure the smooth functioning of both existing and new courses and clerkships. The position will also participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives within the School and have accountability for pertinent functions related to evaluation and assessment. This position requires the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities while maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the core team. It serves as a point-of-contact for clinical faculty, medical students, and administrative professionals for all aspects of the undergraduate medical education (UME) program. The Curriculum Manager updates and posts Canvas course information in UNLV Web campus and MedHub, the curriculum management system, including schedules, syllabi, lectures, presentation materials, and other relevant course materials. This role also assists with course evaluations, exams, and proctoring, and maintains and compiles program evaluation reports, meeting with course and clerkship directors to improve learning tools and make changes to future iterations of clerkships.
