About The Position

SEH America is seeking a Facilities Operations Technician for a 12-hour night shift position. This role involves monitoring and analyzing critical facilities equipment, responding to alarms, performing preventative and responsive maintenance, and managing hazardous waste disposal. The technician will also be involved in various projects such as new equipment installation and modifications, and will be responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Requirements

  • Mechanical/technical experience, skill and aptitude.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain qualification as a member of the HazMat Response Team. This includes a physical exam and use of a respirator. Facial hair can impede the respirator fit.
  • Able to professionally communicate and work with vendors, engineering, and contractors.
  • Must adhere to SOP/SOC’s and work instructions.
  • Able to write and develop new processes and equipment/facilities documentation
  • Experience abiding by strict safety regulations and participating in team safety activities.
  • Understands the danger points related to common facility equipment and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a process manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a facilities operations related position.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze critical and non-critical facilities equipment information.
  • Respond to alarms to make determinations for adjustments or shutting down components on facility equipment.
  • Perform preventative and responsive maintenance.
  • Maintain oversight of designated equipment.
  • Dispose of hazardous waste and chemicals as per regulations and permits.
  • Involved in various projects such as new equipment installation, or equipment/facilities modifications.
  • Personal liability for compliance with Federal/State and local jurisdiction permit compliance.
  • Comply with Federal/State & Company safety policies and procedures.
