About The Position

As a Facilities Operations Planner for Greenheck Group, you will be responsible for enhancing productivity, reducing costs in operations, and implementing new or improved manufacturing processes, equipment, methods, and product design. Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in architecture, construction or interior design required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree in Construction, Project Management or a design related field of study or equivalent years of job experience required.
  • Minimum travel is required for this role.
  • Will work on-site in Shelby, NC.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Construction, Project Management or a design related field of study preferred.
  • AutoCAD and Blue Beam experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Microsoft PROJECT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meets regularly with contractors, subcontractors, and service vendors to provide quality assurance, monitor project budgets and schedules.
  • Oversees daily facility operation activities while maintaining excellent working relationships with maintenance contractors; maintains records and contracts.
  • Required travel to regional locations multiple times a year to create facility assessments and conduct quality control meetings with building services partners.
  • Assist in preparing presentations of projects by gathering cost information, timelines, and project justification.
  • Provide minor maintenance on security system devices and doors (strikes, closures, and locksets).
  • May assist with planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements.
  • Responsible for implementation of office relocations and space allocations, this includes overseeing, scheduling, and implementing furniture projects. This may include coordinating outside moving services.
  • Assist CFS (Corporate Facility Services) in identifying and resolving facility deficiencies with assessments, including determining whether building systems are operating appropriately, and facility appearances meet Greenheck Group standards.
  • Sourcing and overseeing contracts for service providers such as janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, and security.
  • Serve as a secondary contact for security matters and able to respond to facility emergencies.
  • Direct involvement with new facility start-up’s, including owners training.
  • Will perform hands on work for 20% of their time.
