About The Position

Lead the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mission-critical electrical systems supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) data centers. Reporting to the Senior Critical Facilities Manager, this role owns electrical plant operations, maintenance execution, vendor performance, technician leadership, operational readiness, and incident response to protect continuous uptime and compute load. The position is full-time and onsite at Project Frontier in Abilene, Texas. The role oversees day-to-day operation and maintenance of electrical systems, including switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, transfer switches, PDUs, busway, grounding, and related monitoring platforms. It focuses on plant operations and field execution rather than primary design authority, and supports 24/7 mission-critical operations. The manager works with engineering, commissioning, deployment, reliability, and site leadership teams on upgrades, lifecycle replacements, new capacity turn-up, and system handoff. The role also supports operational reporting, risk visibility, staffing readiness, and improvement initiatives for the electrical plant.
