About The Position

We are looking for a Facilities Director to cover our Greenwich Academy (K-12 independent school) site. This client is a very well-known brand in the industry across the globe. In this role you will be responsible for providing top-tier integrated facilities management (IFM) services in harmony with the Academy’s commitment to excellence, student and faculty well-being, and the preservation of its historic campus.

Requirements

Possesses a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Brings over five years of leadership in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM).
Proven track record managing comprehensive facilities programs within educational institutions or comparable campus environments.
Skilled in building, leading, and motivating high-performing facilities teams.
Experienced in overseeing maintenance operations for buildings and property within a single-site setting.
Well-versed in mechanical systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Nice To Haves

Experience with Trane Building Automation Systems.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and guidance to a dedicated team of tradespeople and custodial staff, ensuring the campus remains safe, well-maintained, and inviting.
Cultivate strong partnerships with school leadership and faculty through active listening, clear communication, and a commitment to responsive service.
Direct all facets of facilities operations, including preventive maintenance, capital improvement planning, custodial oversight, and vendor coordination.
Administer and refine the operational budget, implementing sustainable and cost-efficient strategies to maximize resources.
Apply expertise in Building Automation Systems—preferably Trane—to diagnose issues and enhance system performance.
