The Facilities Mechanical Engineer III operates with limited supervision and serves as a technical resource for the operation, maintenance, performance, design, and installation of facility mechanical systems, including HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and associated controls. This role supports and leads sustaining and expansion projects, conducts system performance analysis, and resolves complex operational issues to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety. The position collaborates closely with Operations & Maintenance teams, vendors, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize facility performance, enforce engineering standards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Facilities Mechanical Engineer III mentors junior staff, provides technical guidance, and impacts multiple projects and operational teams across the facility.
