Facilities Engineer III
About The Position
Paradise Valley Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is hiring a Facilities Engineer III. The role maintains accurate equipment logs and supports a safe working environment. The position maintains and repairs hospital equipment and systems, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems, and maintains the building and its related systems. The employee must be certified and/or licensed in a trade directly related to healthcare engineering. Paradise Valley Hospital is a 291-bed acute care hospital in National City that provides a range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and emergency services. The hospital has served the San Diego community for more than 100 years.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in an acute healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certification and/or licensure in a trade related to healthcare engineering, such as steam boiler or HVAC.
