Facilities Engineer III
About The Position
Paradise Valley Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Facilities Engineer III to help maintain a safe working environment and keep hospital equipment, buildings, and related systems in good working order. The hospital is a 291-bed acute care facility serving the San Diego community and providing a range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical, rehabilitation, and behavioral health services. The role maintains accurate equipment logs and maintains and repairs systems and equipment including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Candidates must be certified and/or licensed in a trade directly related to healthcare engineering. Five years of experience in an acute healthcare setting is preferred.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to troubleshoot and read schematics and/or blueprints.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade relevant to healthcare engineering, such as steam boiler or HVAC.
Nice To Haves
- Five years of experience in an acute healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
