About The Position

The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining all Willow Springs assets. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Facilities Manager will lead the maintenance of all facilities of Willow Springs, keeping them up to licensing and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Possess strong ability to communicate and work effectively with diversity.
  • Basic knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Analytical – The Facilities Manager should be able to use his best judgement and adhere to state and federal regulations.
  • Problem Solving – The Facilities Manager will be able to resolve and respond to any unforeseen emergencies as they occur.
  • Ethics – Treat clients, staff, co-workers, visitors, contractors, and guests of Willow Springs with respect and dignity; work ethically and uphold the values and standards or Willow Springs.
  • Attendance, Punctuality, Reliability – Arrive on-site, on-time, as scheduled, consistently with a professional disposition. Ensure all work responsibilities are covered in the event of an absence or scheduled vacation.
  • Leadership – The Facilities Manager should be able to lead and direct all team members.
  • Strong Character – Staying calm under pressure is essential. Having an approachable demeanor without compromising Willow Springs Standards of ethics and workmanship.
  • Organization – Must be highly organized and efficient in managing the necessary daily client/staff demands and tasks associated with them.

Nice To Haves

  • Five to ten years of hands on maintenance experience.
  • Two years of experience in a management position.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License.
  • Current CPR & First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Assist Director of Operations in maintaining company assets.
  • Maintain all assets to licensing and state requirements and report any deficiencies within those assets.
  • Follow all practices detailed in the companies Policies and Procedures Manual and Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to state and federal regulations and laws involved in the care of the facilities and the facility’s license.
  • Carry out maintenance duties and acquire vendor bids when necessary.
  • Maintains facility cleanliness and upkeep of program.
  • Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
  • Discuss significant events that involve interruption to the facility in a timely manner.
  • Follows HIPAA Regulations.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
  • Always follow and maintain Facility Rules.
  • Maintain good relationship with neighbors.
  • Respond to Facilities emails in a timely manner.
  • Maintain expenses within budget and submit expense reports with receipts monthly.
  • Manage and Supervise employees and vendors.
  • Handle facilities expansions.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
