The Facilities Manager, working and planning in conjunction with the Maintenance Crew and Trade Contractors, is responsible for the maintenance of all areas of The Sanford Center. This role involves leading, directing, and participating in the maintenance of HVAC and related systems, programming and monitoring the Building Management System (BMS) for energy efficiency, and operating/repairing mechanical, plumbing, environmental control, and electrical systems. The position also includes training maintenance personnel, managing work orders, supervising maintenance staff, directing contracted building maintenance, and handling project management as assigned. The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and involves physical tasks such as prolonged standing, stooping, lifting, and working at heights.
