The Facilities Manager, working and planning in conjunction with the Maintenance Crew and Trade Contractors, is responsible for the maintenance of all areas of The Sanford Center. This role involves leading, directing, and participating in the maintenance of HVAC and related system operations, programming and monitoring the Building Management System (BMS) for energy efficiency, and operating, monitoring, repairing, and maintaining the facility’s mechanical systems, plumbing, irrigation, environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, and lighting systems. The position also includes training maintenance personnel, verifying completed maintenance, hiring and supervising maintenance staff, providing safety and operational training, project management, directing contracted building maintenance, and attending professional development training sessions.
