The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role will coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction. Single point of accountability for the efficient and timely execution of common processes, responsible for assigned buildings 24/7 Establish and maintain a safety-first culture by promoting and driving safe work practices timely training, best practices as well as delivering rewards and recognitions to promote safe behavior. Work with regional manager to provide the strategy, vision and continuous improvement to drive the facility personnel to advance the quality-of-service delivery and further the client partnership. Foster a collaborative teamwork environment. Promote energy and enthusiasm. Maximize productivity. Drive performance as measured by client’s Key Performance Indicators Resolve FM issues at site, escalating when needed Manage operating expense budgets including monthly variance reports Initiate purchase order requests for goods and services for sites within responsibility Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services against contracts and expectations Drive and promote safety culture within portfolio including subcontractors, suppliers and visitors Work with Regional Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance and repair services. Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction. Act as point of contact with site occupants, property management/ Landlords to coordinate FM activities and ensure client needs are met Perform specific tasks assigned by the Facilities organization Provide Support for maintenance and housekeeping related activities. Uphold Safety as our overriding priority. Support and implement as necessary safety tools such as Take 2s, Pre Task Plans, Safe Operating Practices, Safety Observation tours and Incident Investigations (5 Whys) . Ensure regulatory and standard safety requirements are in place and administered Participate in Energy and Environmental meetings and follow up on issues as required. Conduct informational client meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis.
  • 6+ years industry experience required either in the corporate environment, third party service provider, or as consultant.
  • Strong leadership & management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Matrix manage both technical and administrative staff.
  • Proficient in MS programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Computer proficiency in CMMS systems.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
