Requirements

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools is essential for performing repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations guides the worker in maintaining a hazard-free environment for all building occupants.
• Communication skills are important for coordinating with team members, management, and external contractors to complete projects and respond to urgent issues.
• Organizational skills help in maintaining detailed records and managing multiple maintenance tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to provide effective solutions.
• Conduct repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing light fixtures, repairing doors and windows, and maintaining flooring and walls.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities, including outdoor areas, to ensure a safe environment.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance services.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment or furniture for events or office moves.
