The Facilities Maintenance Worker I performs minor maintenance of carpentry, masonry, and plumbing. This role is responsible for painting walls, woodwork, and other items to maintain appearances. The worker will respond to Work Orders submitted by MRWH employees as assigned by their supervisor, and will move, transport, and repair furniture in all facilities. Additionally, the position assists with fleet maintenance responsibilities, including ensuring vehicles are used in accordance with eligibility requirements, overseeing proper maintenance of all fleet vehicles, and maintaining compliance with grant requirements such as reporting, insurance, and asset tracking. The role may monitor PHLY tracking devices to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices. The Facilities Maintenance Worker assists in the development and implementation of long-term maintenance plans for MRWH facilities in multiple counties, grounds, and real property installed equipment. Work will be performed in Commercial and Residential buildings. The position makes recommendations to the supervisor for the best allocation and utilization of space management in accordance with local, state, and Federal laws and regulations. Travel to MRWH facilities is required, and other duties as assigned by Leadership will be performed.
