About The Position

Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, with a focus on floor care. The role includes operating floor-cleaning equipment and cleaning floors, glass, and windows, while maintaining cleanliness, organization, recovery, safety, and merchandising standards throughout the store. The worker is cross-trained across store areas and supports customer experience and business needs as required.

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate a floor buffer and scrubber.

• Ability to work effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate scrubbers and buffers and perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning of glass and windows.
• Maintain floor-care cleanliness standards, including maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards throughout the store, including the Sales Floor, Single Queue, Associate Lounge, Backroom, and Restrooms.
• Follow company health and safety policies, including refilling essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
• Work in other store areas, including the Backroom, Front End, and Sales Floor, and respond to Front End coverage needs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy and signage standards and participate in store recovery as needed.
• Follow operational and loss-prevention controls and company policies, including shrink-reduction guidelines.
• Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
• Follow labor laws and company policies and procedures, including meal and break-period policies.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Role-model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers and support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
