About The Position

This full-time opportunity with Calvary Healing Center (Calvary) that offers 40 hours per week, full benefits. For over 60 years, Calvary Healing Center has provided a full continuum of care, specializing in addiction treatment for adults across the Phoenix area and Nationwide. Calvary’s proven treatment programs address the practical, physical, and spiritual aspects of addiction for lasting recovery. Our flagship location in Phoenix offers onsite detoxification and in-patient treatment programs, a partial hospitalization program (PHP), and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). We also have a satellite clinic offering Intensive Outpatient Programs in the West Valley region. Through our programs we offer many other holistic healing and treatment options complementing our services ranging from yoga, art workshops, and music. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing the physical plant including maintenance and grounds keeping while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government regulatory agencies, while working alongside the Director of Plant Operations. This person will perform a variety of tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, light HVAC, test and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventative maintenance and various janitorial duties with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Must have a valid driver's license and agree to a Motor Vehicle Driving Record check as part of the background check. And that record must be in good standing.
  • Completion of BLS & First Aid Certification, within 30 days of employment
  • Completion of Verbal De-Escalation Training within 30 days of employment
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience in operating a variety of hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions
  • Understanding of Ohm's Law and refrigeration theory
  • Experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering
  • Experience with reading blueprints and understand Life Safety Code and OSHA Regulations

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of technical or trade school preferred

Responsibilities
