About The Position
Greystone Programs is seeking a skilled and dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our community residences for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is essential to ensuring our homes remain safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. A company vehicle is provided during work hours. The technician must have basic hand tools, with additional tools and equipment provided by the company. Some on-call responsibility is required, including rotating weekend coverage.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, plumbing, sheetrock repair/painting and appliance installation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Commitment to maintaining safe, high-quality living environments
- Must have basic hand-tools
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs across assigned group homes
- Complete basic carpentry, plumbing, sheetrock repair and painting tasks
- Install and troubleshoot household appliances
- Maintain grounds, including lawn care and seasonal clean-up
- Provide snow removal to ensure safe access to residences
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
