In this role you will perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on production equipment and tools in a just-in-time environment. You will also perform scheduled, preventative, and emergency maintenance tasks and projects as assigned by the maintenance supervisor or their designee. The position is located in Edgerton, KS, and reports to the Manager/Operations. The essential duties include providing emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. You will prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs, and perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. This includes diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing, and making adjustments. You will also perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities, and a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions. Maintaining housekeeping standards with attention to detail is also a key responsibility. You will ensure product manufacturing runs smoothly without significant interruptions and work closely with Regulatory Compliance regarding food safety.
