About The Position

This role involves performing repairs and improvements to the facility, including painting, plumbing, minor electrical work, ceiling tiles, flooring, concrete, office cubicles, lighting, storage racks, drywall, emergency lighting, and common grounds. The technician will also have basic knowledge of HVAC up to 20 tons, plumbing, and electrical systems up to 480V. Responsibilities include repairs to crossing gates, pallet racks, minor roofing, gutters, doors, windows, and large fans. The role also entails performing preventative and planned maintenance on certain equipment, verifying and assisting with repairs on large compressors up to 300HP, processing oily water from separators, and assisting in keeping compressors running. The technician must be able to use cutting equipment such as oxy/acetylene torches and have basic knowledge of waste-water control systems, reverse osmosis systems, and process management. Additionally, the role requires the ability to provide safe lifting operations using rigging equipment, air hoists, and cranes, assist with general maintenance functions like equipment/parts/material pickup and delivery, stock parts in satellite storage areas, fill out logistical forms, maintain inventory, and organize storage areas. Safety procedures such as lock-out/tag-out, confined space training, and wearing proper protective equipment are also required.

Responsibilities
