About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance and repair of our building systems and infrastructure.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum two years of related experience; preferably in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Willingness to follow all safety procedures and site policies
Must be able to be on call after hours and weekends

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and painting
Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and ensure a safe working environment
Complete periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned and according to the maintenance schedule.
Perform weekly and monthly inspections on different equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical problems; you will visually check, test, and evaluate the condition of components and equipment
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
Maintain accurate recordkeeping
Perform all maintenance duties, such as PM dock equipment, PM air conditioners, repair restroom fixtures, and maintenance of all buildings.
Other related duties as assigned
