Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant plumbing, facilities maintenance, or industrial systems experience.
  • Strong knowledge of process gas systems, vacuum systems, deionized water systems, plumbing fabrication, and facility utility systems.
  • copper sweating/brazing required
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space awareness, hazard communication, and other industrial safety practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, mobile technology, and computerized maintenance systems.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • technical certification, Associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing environments and cleanroom operations preferred.
  • TIG welding certification preferred
  • orbital welding experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of commercial and industrial plumbing systems supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Service specialized facility systems including process gas delivery, LN2/GN2 piping, vacuum pumps, reverse osmosis/deionized water systems, and wastewater treatment equipment.
  • Install and maintain utilities, process piping, fixtures, and facility infrastructure in manufacturing areas, cleanrooms, laboratories, and office spaces.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support efforts to minimize production downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, specifications, and building codes to complete projects safely and accurately.
  • Assist with equipment installations, facility upgrades, capital projects, laboratory refurbishments, and equipment relocations.
  • Coordinate with engineers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to support continuous facility operations and improvements.
