Requirements

  • Proven expertise in managing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and critical power maintenance operations.
  • Licensed Master Plumber credential with comprehensive knowledge of industry laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience overseeing budgets, cost control, and resource allocation for facility projects and maintenance.
  • Skilled in managing vendor and contractor relationships to ensure quality and timely project completion.
  • Demonstrated leadership in supervising, mentoring, and developing maintenance teams.
  • Proficient in analyzing system requirements to optimize energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align operational goals with business needs.
  • Licensed Master Plumber and 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in the above areas with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Master Plumber License or equivalent in the state you will be working.

Responsibilities

  • Direct maintenance operations for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems, ensuring optimal facility performance and energy efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and standard operating procedures to sustain facility reliability.
  • Manage multiple projects by prioritizing work assignments, supervising progress, and ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Oversee contractor performance, approve material requisitions, and verify invoices to control maintenance costs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and support sustainability initiatives aligned with EPA standards.
  • Lead budgeting processes, resource planning, and financial oversight for capital expenses and staffing needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to align facility operations with business objectives and continuous improvement goals.
