About The Position

We are seeking a "HANDS-ON" Facilities Maintenance Technician who will take pride in maintaining the club facilities in 'like new' condition. This role requires a diverse mix of both hard and soft skills, particularly manual labor, and involves assisting in day-to-day maintenance responsibilities under the direction of the Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate will have plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems, electrical wiring capabilities, carpentry ability for basic repairs, and strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members and members. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure exemplary completion of jobs and to identify potential hazards. Physical stamina is required to handle a full shift of active work. The role also involves applying common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems in standardized situations. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts, to reflect the business needs of the club. Proper use and knowledge of various types of tools and equipment are essential, and the technician must maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor.
