The Facilities Maintenance Lead ensures safe and reliable hospital operations by performing advanced diagnostics, coordinating utility shutdowns and tie-ins, and serving as a subject-matter resource for survey readiness and risk mitigation. This role leads daily execution of work orders, assigns and prioritizes tasks within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), and serves as the first point of escalation for technical issues. The Lead coordinates contractors, oversees interdepartmental communication, and verifies work quality and documentation to support compliance and readiness for regulatory surveys. In addition, the position provides training and task-level direction to Apprentices and Technicians, supporting team development and operational consistency.
