The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will fulfill a wide range of responsibilities in maintaining the cooperative's facilities and grounds at a high standard. This role involves assisting in an organized maintenance program, performing minor repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment, lighting systems, exhaust fans, equipment/tools, and office equipment. The specialist will also need minor plumbing and electrical skills, possess basic computer/software skills, and assist with quality control and inventory programs for office supplies, tools, and safety products. Maintaining proper licenses/certifications, safely operating various vehicles, equipment, and tools, keeping workspaces organized, performing neat paperwork, and attending meetings are also key aspects of the position. A constant state of alertness is required due to safety-sensitive implications.
