About The Position

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Mechanic, also known as a General Mechanic, to join their team on the 2nd Shift (2-10 PM, Monday - Friday). This is a full-time, Union role with a pay rate of $33.32/hr. The position requires flexibility to work Saturdays, overtime, and holidays as needed. The mechanic will specialize in welding, plumbing, and boiler operation and repair within a food processing facility.

Requirements

High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
2 years of experience working in maintenance in a large production facility.
2 years of working knowledge of HVAC systems.
2 years of working knowledge of plumbing systems.
2 years of experience welding.
2 years of experience operating and repairing boilers and steam systems.
Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Specialize in welding, plumbing, and boiler operation and repair.
Apply broad general knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Sanitary Stick, etc.) to various plant operations.
Operate various power tools safely and proficiently.
Read blueprints and perform equipment fabrication and installation.
Operate forklifts and lathes.
Perform plumbing related to food processing operations.
Install water, drain, boiler, HVAC, air compressor, condensate, natural gas, refrigeration, and hot water baseboard systems and related components.
Repair pumps.
Perform all phases of plumbing.
Assist in budgeting for plumbing supplies and manage inventory.
Perform roof repairs and general building maintenance.
Work from simple blueprints or sketches.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
