Requirements

• Prior experience in the maintenance field or appropriate school training.
• Basic knowledge of food service equipment and material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification.
• Valid driver's license and insurance, and ability to travel safely.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly and solve problems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Some knowledge of company operations and procedures.
• Knowledge of computer applications.
• Customer service role model.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to organize, prioritize, plan, and meet deadlines.
• Professional, dependable, and positive, with good judgment and the ability to gain others' support to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Work with the lead to develop a store maintenance schedule for assigned stores.
• Maintain and control inventory for truck stock.
• Maintain sanitation of work areas according to established standards.
• Promote, communicate, and implement company initiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
• Handle stressful situations tactfully and calmly, making a positive impression on associates and customers.
• Contribute positively as a team player and help build team morale.
• Communicate and interact effectively and amicably with the team, including associates and supervisors, while exercising consideration for others.
• Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
