About The Position
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Maintenance Associate to support cleanliness, organization, and general maintenance within a manufacturing environment. This role combines janitorial duties with hands-on support for basic repairs, assembly tasks, and material handling.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Experience using hand tools for assembly and basic repairs
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Ability to work independently and support multiple departments
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Forklift certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning of production and facility areas
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces
- Assist with assembling shop items such as tables, fans, and other equipment
- Support maintenance team with basic repairs and facility upkeep
- Use hand tools for assembly and minor repair work
- Operate a forklift to move materials and equipment as needed
- Assist with general labor tasks across the facility
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
