This role involves skilled work demanding high manual and technical competency, including troubleshooting and repairing pumps, facilities repair (carpentry, drywall, paint, plumbing), and performing checks on safety equipment. The technician will also perform basic Tig and Mig welding, read blueprints, and move parts and frames. Key responsibilities include maintaining equipment and facilities in safe operating condition, repairing breakdowns, and making operating line adjustments. The role requires operating various tools like angle grinders, manual vertical band saws, and pedestal grinders, while adhering to company GMP/Safety Standards and policies. The position also requires knowledge in piping (domestic plumbing, valves), USP Water systems (RO/DI, ozone, T.O.C., U.V. light filtration), boiler operations (chemical feed, condensate return, strainers, steam traps), air compressors (rotary screw, air dryers, oil/water separators), glycol chiller systems (Daikin chillers, glycol/water mixtures, pumps, flow, temperature), wastewater (Ph balance), HVAC (rooftop AC, exhaust fans, automated louvers, gas heaters), building maintenance (general construction, drywall, light fixtures, bathroom repairs, painting, daily inspections, egress lighting, fire extinguisher inspections, storm water inspections), and electrical (low voltage circuits, breaker box). This position has no supervisory responsibilities. All employment offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
