About The Position

The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for ensuring that the building and grounds remain clean, safe, and in good working order through regular cleaning, routine maintenance, and minor repair tasks. This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining clean and orderly production areas and assists with preventive maintenance schedules and basic mechanical or electrical upkeep. The associate will monitor inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies, request replenishments, and ensure compliance with all safety and facility regulations. Major repair needs or safety issues should be reported promptly to the Facilities Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in janitorial or maintenance work, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient facility.
  • HS Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Must successfully pass a drug test and background screening.
  • Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, breakroom and restroom sanitation.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Complete minor repairs on equipment, lighting, plumbing, and fixtures as needed.
  • Support manufacturing operations by maintaining clean and orderly production areas.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and basic mechanical or electrical upkeep.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and request replenishments as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and facility regulations.
  • Report major repair needs or safety issues promptly to the Facilities Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
