About The Position

As a leader in the exterior tunnel car wash industry with over 150 locations, we are committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences and operational excellence. We are looking for a Facilities Leader to manage the maintenance and operational efficiency of our car wash facilities. This role involves leading a team of technicians to ensure the proper upkeep and performance of equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate is a technical expert with strong leadership capabilities, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Experience with CMMS platforms and work order management systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage remote teams and large geographic areas.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and equipment operations.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 10 years in service, repair, remodel, and installation within the car wash industry.
  • Background in industries like plant facilities, heavy equipment repair, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment including conveyors, pumps, motors, sensors across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues to maintain optimal equipment uptime.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop technicians, manage service schedules, recruit skilled tradespeople, and assign work orders via CMMS platform.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as downtime, repair costs, and technician utilization.
  • Manage inventory for market and field vehicles.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align maintenance efforts with business goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets.
  • Work with vendors for parts and contracts.
  • Oversee warranty claims and service agreements.
  • Ensure facilities meet regulatory standards.
  • Conduct safety training and implement safety protocols.
