About The Position

GO Car Wash is a nationwide leader in the exterior tunnel car wash industry with over 150 locations, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and operational excellence. We are seeking a Facilities Leader to oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of our car wash facilities. The Facilities Leader will lead a dynamic team of technicians, ensuring the upkeep and performance of equipment and facilities. This hands-on role demands a technical expert with leadership skills, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, with 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage preventative maintenance and repairs.
Experience with CMMS platforms and work order management systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage remote teams and large geographic areas.
Satisfactory criminal background and motor vehicle check before being hired.

Nice To Haves

At least 10 years in service, repair, remodel, and installation within the car wash industry.
Background in industries like plant facilities, heavy equipment repair, or manufacturing.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and equipment operations.

Responsibilities

Oversee preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment (conveyors, pumps, motors, sensors) across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot complex issues to maintain optimal uptime.
Lead, mentor, and develop technicians, manage service schedules, recruit skilled tradespeople, and assign work orders via CMMS platform.
Monitor KPIs (downtime, repair costs, technician utilization), manage inventory for market and field vehicles, and collaborate with leadership to align maintenance efforts with business goals.
Develop and manage budgets, work with vendors for parts and contracts, and oversee warranty claims and service agreements.
Ensure facilities meet regulatory standards, conduct safety training, and implement safety protocols.
