About The Position

The Facilities Intern supports the Facilities department in analyzing and improving components of Lindt’s chocolate production equipment. The department maintains and improves the efficiency of a 1-million-square-foot factory. The role provides exposure to chocolate production processes, mechanical component analysis, building infrastructure, and robotics. The intern analyzes machine-component failures, develops prototypes, calculates system efficiency, and performs data analysis. The twelve-week Lindternship program provides hands-on experience for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns contribute to business-impacting projects, are paired with a mentor, attend professional development workshops and sessions, and participate in networking events. This is an onsite internship. Compensation is $20 per hour. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the company will not sponsor work visas.
