About The Position

The Facilities Grounds Technician is responsible for maintaining the grounds and irrigation systems of the Apache Casino Hotel. This role involves completing work order requests, operating vehicles, and ensuring a positive and exceptional service experience for both internal and external customers. The technician will also manage supplies, adhere to company policies, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years’ experience in grounds maintenance or related field.
• Proven knowledge of and competent ability with tools and techniques associated with landscaping work.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proven record of working independently when required, and accomplishing tasks without direct supervision, with an ability to think creatively to solve problems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, to communicate with contractors, outside workers and team members.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission and pass all required pre-employment processing.
• Must pass a background check and drug-screening test, and obtain a gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish work order requests related to facility grounds and irrigation system.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers, working effectively with peers, team members and regulatory agency personnel.
• Request supplies and tools as needed.
• Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
• Regular attendance is required.
