About The Position

The Facilities Enhancement Technician maintains the visual appeal, safety, and cleanliness of 7-Eleven properties. The role focuses on power washing, surface cleaning, parking lot striping, light painting, and general maintenance. The technician completes preventative and reactive work orders, delivering quality results that enhance the customer experience and uphold brand standards. The position includes inspecting and cleaning surfaces; operating power washing and striping equipment; preparing and painting parking lots, walkways, and designated areas; performing light interior and exterior painting; maintaining tools, equipment, and an assigned company vehicle; and completing general facility upkeep and work orders. The technician follows safety guidelines, including proper PPE use, and ensures ADA-related requirements are met. This is classified as Heavy Work and involves substantial physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, repetitive motions, equipment use, and lifting or carrying materials. Travel is required, up to 50%. The technician collaborates with team members and external partners, follows assigned schedules and shift start times, and maintains flexibility to work varied hours with reasonable notice.

Requirements

Ability to operate equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to perform the physical activities and lifting described for Heavy Work: lifting up to 100 lbs from floor to waist and carrying up to 100 lbs for up to 20 feet; lifting up to 75 lbs from waist to shoulder and overhead.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with power washing, maintenance, or construction-related work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect surfaces and determine appropriate cleaning methods.
Set up and safely operate power washing equipment.
Remove dirt, grime, mold, graffiti, loose paint, and debris; apply cleaning agents and detergents as needed.
Use water reclamation equipment where required.
Clean canopies, under-decking, and company-owned exterior structures.
Operate hand-held and ride-on striping equipment.
Measure and prepare surfaces using chalk lines, guide marks, and ADA templates.
Apply paint to parking lots, walkways, and designated areas, complying with ADA standards and safety regulations.
Perform light interior and exterior painting projects.
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment.
Maintain power washing and striping equipment in working condition.
Manage inventory of tools and parts within audit expectations of +/- 1%.
Maintain the assigned company vehicle and follow scheduled service requirements.
Perform general facility upkeep, including lighting, ceiling tiles, and wall repairs.
Ensure ADA signage is compliant and clearly visible.
Complete work orders to quality and performance standards.
Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
Stay informed on industry best practices, materials, and techniques.
Collaborate with team members and external partners.
Adhere to assigned schedules and shift start times, and maintain flexibility to work varied hours with reasonable notice.
Travel to assigned locations, up to 50%.
