Facilities Enhancement Technician

About The Position

The Facilities Enhancement Technician helps maintain the visual appeal, safety, and cleanliness of 7-Eleven properties. The role focuses on power washing and surface cleaning, parking lot striping, light painting, and general maintenance. Technicians complete preventative and reactive work orders to enhance the customer experience and uphold brand standards. The position involves travel of up to 50% and outdoor work in varying conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to operate equipment and work outdoors in varying conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to perform heavy physical work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, repetitive motions, and lifting and carrying materials.
Lift up to 100 lbs from floor to waist and carry up to 100 lbs for up to 20 feet; lift up to 75 lbs from waist to shoulder and overhead.
Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Inspect surfaces and select appropriate cleaning methods.
Set up and operate power-washing equipment safely and efficiently.
Remove dirt, grime, mold, graffiti, loose paint, and debris; apply cleaning agents and detergents as needed.
Use water reclamation equipment where required.
Clean canopies, under-decking, and company-owned exterior structures.
Operate hand-held and ride-on striping equipment.
Measure and prepare surfaces using chalk lines, guide marks, and ADA templates; apply paint accurately to parking lots, walkways, and designated areas.
Ensure striping and painting comply with ADA standards and safety regulations.
Perform light interior and exterior painting projects.
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment, keeping power-washing and striping equipment in working condition.
Manage inventory of tools and parts within audit expectations of +/- 1%.
Maintain the assigned company vehicle and follow scheduled service requirements.
Perform general facility upkeep, including lighting, ceiling tiles, and wall repairs.
Ensure ADA signage is compliant and clearly visible.
Complete work orders to quality and performance standards.
Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE, and stay informed on industry best practices, materials, and techniques.
Collaborate with team members and external partners; adhere to assigned schedules and shift start times, and work varied hours with reasonable notice.
