This internship role focuses on facilities engineering, where you will contribute to the planning, design, and modification of facilities assets supporting business functions across office spaces, laboratories, and manufacturing areas. You will apply engineering principles to solve real-world challenges, gaining exposure to project management, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. The internship provides an opportunity to learn how engineering problem-solving methodology can be applied to complex problems involving infrastructure, energy efficiency, and sustainability. Interns will participate in multiple projects at different stages, working alongside experienced engineers and facility managers. You will be exposed to critical building systems such as chilled water, heating water, hazardous exhaust, electrical distribution, specialty gases, fire protection, and building automation systems. Responsibilities include assisting in evaluating system performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing upgrades to enhance safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. You will also support compliance efforts by ensuring facility systems meet regulatory standards and internal policies. Additionally, you will gain experience in CAD software, data analysis, and technical reporting.
