About The Position
Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. Our flagship Cape Station development in Milford, Utah is one of the largest next-generation geothermal developments in the world, and our Houston headquarters houses the engineering, commercial, and corporate teams driving Fervo's growth. As a Facilities Engineering Intern, you'll dig into the Brine Transfer Unit (BTU), the gathering network that carries geothermal brine from the wellfield to the power block, supporting design review, technical documentation, and coordination with cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- Rising Junior, Senior bachelor's candidate wrapping up within the next year
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering degrees preferred
- Interest in facilities design and energy infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Support brine transfer unit (BTU) scope
- Assist with gathering system design review and documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on pipeline-related deliverables
