About The Position

Join a team working on Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) operations as a Facilities Engineer IV – Environmental Markets Analyst. The role supports performance optimization, profitability, and carbon-credit generation across multiple RNG production sites. It uses data analysis, process engineering, and reporting to advance sustainability goals and regulatory compliance, in collaboration with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies, and auditors.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in process or chemical engineering, or plant/manufacturing environments.
• Advanced expertise with PowerBI, data monitoring, and visualization tools.
• Demonstrated leadership in project management and participation in cross-disciplinary teams.
• Strong technical curiosity, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to use data analytics for profitability and root-cause analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation and trend analysis.
• Experience managing large datasets and identifying incomplete or poor-quality data.
• Demonstrated ability to meet recurring deadlines for routine tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PI, PIVision, PowerApps, and additional data visualization software.
• Background in process monitoring, operations optimization, and facilities engineering collaboration.
• Experience identifying data-quality constraints and improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Use PowerBI and other advanced tools to monitor, visualize, and analyze facility data for operational efficiency and carbon-credit generation.
• Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly regulatory reports required for credit generation and compliance.
• Identify operational trends to optimize production, improve profitability, and streamline credit-generation processes.
• Build relationships with auditors and regulatory stakeholders, host site visits, and facilitate communication.
• Investigate operational issues, connect data insights to physical operations, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, planning, and engineering teams on plan development and execution.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional projects that drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
