About The Position

Under limited supervision and with independent judgment, supervises and coordinates the activities relating to the infrastructure of company property, by performing the following duties: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Building Automation & Controls Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). Automation Optimization Assist with implementation of occupancy-based controls, lighting automation, scheduling, and demand management programs. Facility Operations Support Respond to building service calls and emergency situations involving electrical or control systems. Maintain, install, and repair power and lighting equipment. Implement and support a comprehensive preventative maintenance program. Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as required. Functions as a team leader, either directly or through leadership, including but not limited to: Recommends and communicates goals. Directs operations to ensure the achievement of required results. Develops, recommends and implements operational plans and procedures. Trains, coaches and leads staff. May serve as a contributing member of project team(s), or leader of project team(s), coordinating resources to ensure achievement of project activities. Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent electrical certification preferred.
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Direct Digital Controls (DDC), or Energy Management Systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, motors, control circuits, and HVAC controls.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and control drawings.
  • Proficiency using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with BAS platforms such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, or Trane Tracer systems.
