About The Position

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing casino property under the guidance of the Facilities Director. Performs technical maintenance duties as required, along with some payroll and administrative duties. The role manages and coordinates Engineering Department work and oversees the quality of technical maintenance at the casino.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years of technical background required.
Verifiable supervisory experience.
Able to use a multimeter and troubleshoot equipment using a schematic or wiring diagram.
Experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and refrigeration.
Ability to use power tools.
Ability to lift at least 75 pounds while standing, twisting, or bending.
Able to stand and/or sit for 8 hours.
Ability to distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair facilities, equipment, and grounds.
Monitor facility systems and equipment and make adjustments and repairs as necessary.
Document engineering actions and equipment or system irregularities requiring continued monitoring to maintain continuity among shifts.
Direct and monitor vendor and staff work and inspect systems and equipment to ensure compliance with required codes and standards.
Identify problems and implement changes, expansions, and additions to systems and equipment.
Manage and coordinate Engineering Department work and oversee the quality of casino technical maintenance.
Work with other departments to resolve engineering-related complaints and problems.
Direct all service vendors.
Manage multiple projects within strict time constraints.
Perform technical maintenance, payroll, and administrative duties as required, and other job-related duties as assigned.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
Manage and motivate employees.
