About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a successful gaming company operating in the United States and is one of the premier casino entertainment companies in the United States. We are seeking a Facilities Director to administer overall maintenance operations to maintain the facilities and equipment at the highest level of efficiency. This role involves managing maintenance staff, developing preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with codes, and overseeing various maintenance and repair aspects of the facility.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and repair of the electrical, air conditioning and heating, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Nice To Haves

• Five (5) years of experience in a similar position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer overall maintenance operations to maintain the facilities and equipment at the highest level of efficiency.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline maintenance staff.
• Develop and coordinate implementation of procedures and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, fire, and building codes.
• Monitor staffing levels in accordance with business needs.
• Coordinate and supervise sub-contracted projects.
• Maintain and oversee purchasing and parts inventories.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
